This pretty bride-to-be just so happens to be my cousin. Our mothers are sisters and she was born when I was in middle school. I loved sharing holidays with little Erin at Mammaw Hazel’s house in Laurel, MS as well as beach trips to FL, mountain trips to Alabama and more. It brings me so much joy to see her so in love with Taylor. They met at a party in Atlanta (he said he made a bee line for her the minute he saw her!) and a year and a half later, he popped the question. I cannot wait to capture their June 2017 wedding in Atlanta!
So, the plan was to use the gorgeous property of the Swan House as the location for their engagement session. It was a bright, sunny July day up until the minute we pulled into the parking lot of the Atlanta History Center. DOWNPOUR y’all!! There were a few times when it slacked up enough to ditch the umbrellas but it rained for the full 2 hours we were there. Taylor and Erin had such great attitudes about it all and rolled with the punches. People in love do those sorts of things. They look for the good……find adventure in mishaps…..and bring their own sunshine to any rainy situation.
Hunger Games fans might recognize this amazing home as President’s Snow’s house in the movies. It is so amazing! And no….we did not have the champagne fight *technically* on their lawn. We were good boys and girls and did that just beyond the fancy gates. Take a peek at the fun we had together. Let the countdown to wedding day begin!
