Wow….we have to rewind to April of 2015. That’s 17 months before Sarah and Matt said “I Do”, y’all.
Like most Old South brides, photography was Sarah’s #1 priority during the wedding planning process. She reached out to me nearly 1 1/2 years out from her day to make sure all of her memories and the people she loves most were well documented. She is a very family-oriented, sentimental girl and we loved getting to know her over the past 2 years.
We did their engagement session in a sunflower field in July 2015 which is where I got to meet their precious son, Lucas. Click HERE to see that summer session.
Fast forward to September 2016 and we captured the sweetest bridal portrait session HERE. As I mentioned, getting to spend time with Sarah and see the love she shares with her Mom, her entire family, Matt (who makes her smile in the sweetest way) and their son, Lucas, over the course of this journey has transformed Sarah from a client…to a friend.
When 10.1.16 came, all the stars were aligned for this couple. A GORGEOUS sunny October day and an outstanding team of vendors that executed on everything this day with such professionalism. From the details (which were amazing…including handmade signs by Matt, the groom, that lined the ceremony aisle with the sweetest scripture), to the hair/makeup, the yummy food (the shrimp and grits were mmmmmmm) and the hundred supportive guests who attended….Sarah and Matt had a picture perfect day.
Enjoy a walk through their wedding day at Morning Glory Farm. Rustic chic with southern class and more love than one blog post can hold.
Matt and Sarah (and little Lucas), thank you for trusting us to tell your story. We loved capturing every laugh, every hug, every tear. You two are special.
