Ladies, do not skip the dress rehearsal!
The Bridal Portrait session is typically scheduled 4-6 weeks prior to wedding day (once dress alterations are completed) and gives our brides a chance to REALLY wear her wedding dress for a few hours prior to wedding day.
We ask her to sit, stand, twirl, climb stairs, etc. and this gives her a true sense of the fit of the gown. So many of our brides have gone back for further alterations (the hem was a tad too long when she walked, too loose in the top, etc.) after this session even when she believed the gown was perfect in the fitting room. This is a true dress rehearsal (the sessions are typically 1.5-2 hours) and will make a bride feel so much more comfortable and confident when the big day arrives.
Julia’s day at Ballantyne Country Club was picture perfect. Her trial run of hair/makeup was flawless, the bouquet was all she hoped it would be and the gown fit like a glove. Plus, it took away some of the stress on wedding day to get those *just right* images of her in her lovely gown since Alisha had already been achieved that weeks before her wedding day.
Isn’t she lovely? Their 8.19.17 wedding to follow….
