It was July 2016.
Heather is a busy resident in Pediatrics and had recently become engaged to Ben. Her time was very limited and this smart girl’s first step was to hire a fabulous wedding planner. Jacquie with Stunning and Brilliant Events helped her tremendously along the planning process and I was so thankful she recommended our team to Heather.
I love that Heather knew exactly what she liked about our photography. She mentioned (in that first phone call we had back in July) that she was drawn to our use of light. Not just the open, pretty natural light but our creative use of more advanced, off-camera lighting. Knowing she was getting married at The Arbors (a lovely outdoor location with big sweeping landscapes) and her attraction to advance lighting, I felt that Lindsey would be THE PERFECT Old South photographer for her. And boy was that the right match. These images are inherently stronger because Lindsey sees life and light the way Heather does. She was truly Heather’s eyes on this day and the images speak for themselves.
Jacquie told us the one image Heather talked about repeatedly was Ben’s reaction to seeing her for the first time. Y’all, his sweet face during their first look will bring tears to your eyes. He is absolutely overwhelmed by his bride. So in love, so in awe….these are truly the moments in time your heart will never want to forget (thank goodness for that perfect capture by Lindsey!).
Enjoy a walk through their amazing April wedding day. It is beautiful on so many levels. Thank you both for choosing Old South to tell your incredibly sweet story. (Full Vendor List at bottom of post)
