Oh what a FABULOUS start to our 2018 wedding season!!!!
Hallie and Rob tied the knot on 2.17.18 at Myers Park Methodist followed by a fabulous reception at Myers Park Country Club (Part 2 coming tomorrow!). How special to think that her own parents said their own vows to one another 3 decades ago in that very same church. That is truly a story of legacy!
First, I owe a HUGE thank you to Alexa Richardson Burns and Amy Masters Summers. These former Old South brides were kind enough to rave about their experience as Old South brides to convince Hallie and Rob to book with us. That verbal referral is truly GOLD to us. It cannot be bought. It is based on trust and we cannot thank them enough for their kind words. (Plus, getting to see them both at the wedding was also a huge bonus!!)
Part 1 of today’s post focuses on all the fun leading up to the ceremony. The bridal suite is always full of hair, makeup, nerves, and lots of anticipation. Hallie did a great job of staying in the moment and enjoying time with her sweet bridesmaids. Can we talk about how adorable those PJs are?? What an awesome bridesmaids’ gift!
Rob and the fellas stayed cool and calm all afternoon too. The entire day ran so smoothly under the direction of Lauren with Southern Savvy Events and Mary Beth with Myers Park Country Club.
Guests braved light showers entering the gorgeous Myers Park Methodist Church. Despite the gloomy forecast, the church was full of love and happy faces. In a short and sweet ceremony, the new Mr. and Mrs. Gunst pledged forever to one another and you could see the joy on their faces. After a few more family photos, we were off to Myers Park Country Club for the big party. Stay tuned tomorrow for the rest of their wedding story!!
