Relationships. They are ALL that matter in this crazy world. Those daily connections, a sweet smile, a kind hug, that phone call that brightens your day….people are what truly matter. Not the cars we drive, the neighborhood we live in, the schools our kids attend or the football team we root for. Those things will all pass away but the strong relationships we build will withstand the test of time.
Julie and Chris will be married on April 8 this year at Separk Mansion. They are that fairytale love story of a blind date gone RIGHT! Both work in the school system and were set up by Julie’s Mom (of all people). They both timidly arrived at a Starbucks for a cup of coffee with a stranger and somehow, they found so much more. When your heart connects with “the one”, you never want the date to end and something inside feels like it found “home” in the other person’s story. He proposed last July in Hilton Head and they are so excited to begin a new life together very soon.
How they came to us is also a testament to the power of relationships. Julie is a family friend of none other than the Scruggs (remember that sunflower field farmer who let me use his land so graciously for 5 summers??), Julie also occasionally babysits for two friends of mine who happen to be wedding planners AND Chris’ family knows one of our 2015 Old South couples, Hallie and Sal. All of those special people in my life over the years pointed this sweet couple our way when it was time to choose a wedding photography company.
Not an ad in a magazine. Not a random Google search. Not a booth at a generic bridal show.
It is ALWAYS about relationships. And theirs is a great one.
Enjoy a peek at the beautiful work Autumn created for Julie and Chris on a cold day this winter. We can’t wait for their wedding day in just a couple of weeks!
