Childhood is truly a magical season of life. Full of wonder and delight and of course…..treasured security blankets and tattered bunnies. The Lovey Project is our ongoing fundraiser to benefit Field of Dreams. We offer studio portraits of children with their “lovies” (treasured item that brings them comfort) before the magic of childhood becomes a distant memory. Enjoy a few favorites we captured in March.
Lauren loves “Kitty”. He has been her lifelong companion at bedtime and beyond. His tattered body shows how much love he has been given and we think his one-eyed look is a badge of honorHer Daddy bought her a “New Kitty” since the original “Kitty” is so tattered so she carries them both now. But we know who her #1 guy will always be.
Rachel has carried “B”, her green blankie, everywhere since she was one. It’s even tough to pry him away from her hands long enough to put him in the washing machine! When she is sleepy or had a rough day, he is the one she reaches for first. His tattered and torn body is evidence of a life well loved.
