As a mom of 2, I know it’s not right to have favorites among your babies.
Here at Old South, we love ALL the weddings we capture but y’all….there is just something extra magical about winter weddings. With earlier sunsets, we get to use ALL lighting styles. Over the course of one wedding day, we will shoot in full sun, dimly lit churches, candlelight reception venues and more. Getting to use all the tools in our lighting bag of tricks keeps the day challenging and fun for us as artists. So, while winter weddings are far more challenging than spring/summer weddings, we love the opportunity to rise to the challenge.
Chemin and John had the time of their lives on November 11, 2017. Alisha and I were the lucky ones who got to capture all the magic of their day.
Erin Padgett Events created a moody, dramatic, candlelit gold and black event that made everyone’s jaw drop! Every detail was just so lovely and classic.
Chemin and John have such an amazing friendship that grounds their love affair. Above all else, they enjoy spending time together. Whether its Avett Brothers concerts (they have seen LOTS!) to Netflix nights on the couch, they are truly best friends. The connection they have is so obvious to everyone who knows them and if you scroll down, I promise you will FEEL it too in the gallery below.
