I was working in the studio one year ago today, July 27, 2016 to be exact, when a phone call came in. It was the dearest British woman on the other end with lots of questions for me about shooting her daughter’s wedding. She had been referred to us by our neighbor, The Ballantyne Country Club, and wanted to chat. I could just hear the excitement in her voice and how much she wanted to protect/care for Rebecca along the wedding planning journey.
Rebecca and Zac came to meet with me in the studio one week later and I knew we were a great match. They are SO in love and just so happen to be living proof that a blind date really can work out! What began over yogurt at Pinkberry years ago, had turned into the BEST kind of relationship. They were gushing about the wedding they were planning and life they were starting together.
Alisha was the perfect photographer for this couple. She too is so kind, caring and all-around positive. That connection they had shows in the images below and helped keep the mood of the wedding day fun and happy (which is how everyone would describe Rebecca and Zac!).
6.17.17 was the BEST day of their lives and we were thrilled to capture every second. To the new Mr. and Mrs. Johnston, thank you for trusting us to tell your beautiful story. The opening chapter is perfection!
